As stated on the weapons page the HMG cooling module (pictured on the left) lets you fire through a full clip of HMG ammo with no downtime. Such a powerful addon is a very rare find on a full server (cos everyone wants it), the cooling mod allows an experienced player to go on a fragging spree. "I normally have my map routine set out so I pick up the cooling module on the way to the HMG. Once I have it, I goto the known hot spots, where I can stand off, and lay down fire from relative safety. Corridors are also very good places of carnage when you have a fully loaded cooled HMG. Using good deflection shooting and strafing technique one can go from the middle of the pack to the top in a one minute frag fest. Visiting and obtaining the HMG with cooling mod is a must." Ever had the frustration of wondering why someone killed you, even though you started firing first? Answer probably is armour. There are three types of armour to help give you that extra protection. They are; head (top picture to the left), body (middle picture to the left) and leg armour (bottom picture to the left). Armour also comes in two different types of strengths. Each form comes in 50% strength and 100% strength. "Armour can be what separates the men from the boys. Trick is to know where the various armour is, and how to get to it. Trick is to know the maps. That way you can have a path mapped out in your head of where you want to go and what you want to pick up on the way. Trick is to keep away from the action for a minute while you run around and stock up on your armour and weapons, and then when you run into the big fire fights you can take more hits and damage then your unprotected opponents. Another idea is only grab it when you need it. Why pick up 100% worth of leg armour when you already have 99%? Lets say your in a battle with 99% body armour, once your armour starts to drops and you have taken some damage, and you know there is more armour close by, it can be a good tactic quickly retreat and grab this extra armour. Hopefully your opponent thinks you are a coward and follow you. Then you can hopefully finish him off. But at the same time, sometimes it can be better to grab armour even when you don't need it. For example, if you see some armour and know your not going to be coming back for it, then its smart to grab it so your opponents can't." Pearls of Wisdom courtesy of Zoltrix{GFC} |

Health packs come in three different types, which obviously give you three different measures of life back when you pick them up. Pick up the health pack shown on top left and you will gain 25 health points back, pick up the health pack shown on middle left and you will gain 15 health points back. Now the health pack shown on the bottom left is without a doubt the rarest item in multiplayer Kingpin. For one simple reason, no matter how much health you currently have, if you pick up this baby it restores your health back to 100. "Trick with health is to mainly follow the same principles I outlined above about armour. Try and know the maps and learn where all the health packs are. So many battles can be won from smart tactics rather then skill. A less skilled player that can draw a better player into areas where they can grab health can often win. With the larger health packs try and only grab these when you need. They are pretty easy to find, so are very handy to have nearby. With the 15 health packs grab these whenever you can. They are a bit harder to find and don't give you a great boost anyway. Whenever you see one of the RARE 100 health packs, grab it no matter what your health is. It's great if you have 1 health left, as grabbing one of these will restore your life back to full. But even if you have a large portion of life, grab it anyway, as its better that you get it then leave it behind for you opponent." Pearls of Wisdom courtesy of Zoltrix{GFC} |

The Magnum Mod turns your handgun into a .44 calibre head splitter, as it gives the pistol x2 normal damage. It turns your normally ineffective pistol into a very effective short-range weapon. It also makes an awesome sound as it discharges.
